The Copeland House and Prayer Garden was originally home to the Jackson family from 1939-2012. Lovers Lane United Methodist Church was able to purchase the home and property in 2012 and has continued to utilize the space with the same spirit of welcome it had as a family home. The same front door that was open to so many over the years remains as a warm welcome to all who come for fellowship and to find a place of peace.
The garden has been transformed over the years to include scenic overlooks, walking paths, space for fellowship and worship, and now the Streams of Living Water Prayer Walk. Our prayer is that the garden and Prayer Walk can be a place for neighbors, church members, and those simply passing by to come, pause from the hurry of the day, and revel in the silence.
The Copeland House will be open as a Spiritual Center for regular opportunities for guided prayer, silence, Christian meditation practices, etc. For more information about the Copeland Spiritual Center and to see current opportunities go to copelandspiritualcenter.org.
